It seems we just burned through $1 billion for buying a bunch of clunkers, in a week. So an additional $2 billion ought to last…. 2 weeks. At least with my funny math.
Anyway, I just find it interesting that there are probably a bunch of people out there whining about how much money the government is printing, right up until the point they get $4500 knocked off the price of their new car.
It’s amazing how principled we can be when we’re not getting the cash…..
Maybe we could get ‘rebates for reloaders’ – turn in all our brass at a guvmint center to help the poor, disinfranchised shooters out there who can’t afford new ammo- sort of like turning in soda cans for money – I think I’ll have to call Claire’s office :0)

I know several people who are trading in perfectly fine, paid off cars for new cars they don’t really need. Sigh.
